Message If you were driving right beside a truck while being clocked by RADAR, the RADAR would read the truck's speed, not yours. This is because of more "bounce" off the truck's greater surface area. You could be doing 80MPH and the truck doing 65MPH, the RADAR would read 65MPH. Keep in mind, the reading would change as soon as you start pulling ahead of the truck.
